Description

Village Vet Milton is a thriving 24 Veterinary Hospital on the north side of Cambridge. It is one of the very few practices in Cambridgeshire accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a Tier 3 Hospital. Our vets and nurses offer a full range of veterinary services including preventive care programmes, neutering, vaccination and dentistry.

In addition, the hospital team provide more advanced care and services to our surrounding clinics and emergency cover to a wide range of vets in Cambridgeshire. Our nurses also offer a variety of free clinics including pet slimming clinics, dental checks and nutritional advice.

Milton have a fantastic part time opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Night Vet to join the our  24/7 hospital. This hospital is running at very high standards of care as well as being well equipped to maintain these high standards. The new Night Veterinary Surgeon will join the existing night team consisting of Night RVN's and PCA's.

Night shifts are part time: 6 nights in a 4 week rotation. This will work out as 19.5 hours per week.

Week 1 – Thurs night

Week 2 – Mon to Thurs night

Week 3 – Mon night

Week 4 - OFF

Your Main Responsibilities

  • PATIENT/CLINICAL CARE - Delivering a high level of clinical care to standards in conjunction with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.
  • CLIENT CARE - The delivery of client satisfaction to an exceptional level as defined by Village Vet.
  • TEAMWORK – Working within the Vet team and wider hospital team, to contribute your skills, efforts and personal strengths to help ensure a harmonious team ethos at all times.
