Maintaining the Mypetportal system practices and being an initial point of call for any day to day issues. In addition, the post involves monitoring and promoting preferred product usage, in conjunction with the Procurement Manager.

Information About Us

Village Vet has 30 practices across North London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, which includes four 24-hour emergency hospitals and a specialist referral centre in Hampstead – London Vet Specialists. We have nearly 300 staff, including specialists in Soft Tissue Surgery, Dermatology and Emergency and Critical Care, staff with certificates in feline practice, and residency trained consultants in anaesthesia and internal medicine. The pace of work for Village Vet ranges from the quieter village practices in Cambridge, to the fast-paced, 24-hour emergency and critical care at Hampstead.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all online orders received from the Mypetportal system are processed efficiently and any agreed service level agreements are met
  • Provide advice and ongoing support to the practices for all Mypetportal queries including any updates or changes to the system.
  • To provide excellent customer service to all internal and external Stakeholders
  • Responsible for keeping the Mypetportal system up to date and that any changes to client and pet details are completed accurately.
  • Ensuring that all client reminders are completed and assisting with any other communications required (SMS, email and letter format)
  • Visiting practices on a regular basis to provide support and training on Mypeportal.
  • To support with general administration duties within Mypetportal and Village Vet

Essential Experience Required

  • Experience of using IT systems and packages
  • Experience of working within a veterinary practice
  • SQP Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Good level of education including an understanding of IT systems.
  • Competent in using Word and Excel

Desirable Experience Required

  • Experience of working within a veterinary practice
