Description

To work clinically within a dedicated night team. You will be involved in an array of emergency cases, dealing with clients face to face as well as monitoring patients, assisting in surgery and administering medications.

You will share our vision and working with your team, deliver outstanding service and care to patients and clients, as well as consistently keeping up practice standards and implementing new ones to suit the business.

Rota 45 hours a week and is 1 week on, 1 week off. This is split between our Milton and Whittlesford hospitals.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Working as a Veterinary Nurse across all areas of the practice (surgery, wards and emergency consultation)
  • Monitoring anaesthetics and assisting with veterinary procedures
  • Ensuring that set nursing practices and protocols are maintained to the current best practice standards

Essential Experience Required

  • Experienced and registered Veterinary Nurse with an interest in or previous work experience in all areas of a hospital
  • Outstanding patient care skills
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Working experience of MS Office and a Practice Management System

Desirable Experience Required

  • Experience working as a Veterinary Nurse in a hospital
  • Clinical coaching and/or training experience
  • Exposure to Emergency and Critical Care cases
  • Experience working with EZVet Practice Management System
